One week to go

Heey,
We have been here now for a week and South Africa is amazing! The place where we are staying, Genadedal, is in between the mountains and so the view is beautiful. We have done a lot the past week, I'll give a short summary.
Saturday ; arrive airport after 5 hours delay. The buddy's came to pick us up with the bus of their school. We were all very tired, so we choose a bed and went to sleep.
Sunday; We went with a boat to spot sharks, and we saw one white shark. We also saw two islands with penguins and seals. After that we visited the beach (everyone fell asleep and got a sunburn) and we went to Hermanus to eat and shop.
Monday; First day of school with the buddy's at the Emil weder school. The lessons were one big chaos, didn't really have lessons actually. We can read and understand Afrikaans which is really funny.
Tuesday; Second day of lessons with the buddy. After school we went with our buddy's to their home's. My buddy is Ruduwan and he is really nice. His house was really different from ours but beautiful, a really special to have experienced this! We also went for a walk in the mountains with Anne and Bregje and their buddy's.
Wednesday; With 'Ajax Cape town' to the townships and visit two primary schools here. These children wake up with gunshots but they were so happy and curious. We have taken at least 100 photos with all the children that day. And they all wanted a hug and they wanted to play with your hair. After this we visited Stellenbosch, a quit rich city with nice buildings and more white people. Very different from the townships of course. We drove further to Franschoek and we ate here with the whole group.
Thursday; We went to Kaap de goede hoop and we walked to the top and back. It was really warm and a quit hard walk with al the stones, but really nice to do. We took some pictures at the edge of the mountains which would give my mum some stomachpains, sorry mum. ;) We also visited a place with penguins and we ate dinner together. When we came home we got 5 minutes to change for the school party, which was a lot of fun.
Friday; First we went to school for a assemble and then we went to a crèche for social work with the buddy's. We cleaned up the place and made plans to give the building and outside some colour the next time we come. I thought it was really nice to really help the community myself. Than we went to the primary school where my group (Anne, Loes and laura) and I are going to teach lessons to a group of children. It was a nice school and very different from the primary schools in the townships. After this we got the afternoon free to sleep or get some rest.
As you can see we have done a lot already. I am really tired as we have to get up between 5 and 6 every day, and we go to sleep at 12 most of the time because we all have to shower and write in our diary every night.
I do love Africa and the gorgeous view everywhere. I think we have seen most mountains in the neighbourhood and I still am falling in love with them every time. The weather is really nice as well, not to warm and not to cold. Sometimes it's really warm but I'm enjoying the sun.
It feels like we have been here already for weeks and I'm looking forward for the coming week! I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun!
